Hyper Poland secures further investment to develop magnetic railway technology

by Startacus Admin
Further development of magnetic rail system thanks to investment raised by innovative Polish company Hyper PolandOne of Poland's most innovative companies, Hyper Poland, has just secured over half a million euros investment. The money raised will enable the business to extend its research on passive magnetic levitation technology, adapting it to existing railway infrastructure and building a full-scale test track.
The funding will allow further development of Hyper Poland’s unique magrail technology, a solution that enables magnetic levitation infrastructure to be adapted on existing railways. Thanks to this approach the most innovative form of transport will not require huge investments in a whole new infrastructure - explains Hyper Poland’s CEO, Przemysaw Pczek.
However, it’s important to note that Magrail is just the first step. The second is hyperrail, which will require the construction of vacuum tunnels over the magrail infrastructure. Vehicles would then speed up to 1000 kph. Stage three is hyperloop - the most innovative, fastest, most energy-efficient, thus the most „green” form of transport. With hyperloop, the magnetic capsules will accelerate to 1200 kph on an entirely new infrastructure.
Hyperloop and other magnetic solutions are no longer a mystery to the international community. European Union has recognized them as worth supporting as a new direction of transportation development. With this in mind member states have founded a Joint Technical Committee - JTC 20 whose goal is to create a homogenous system of ultra-high-speed transportation throughout the continent.
As Michal Litwin, strategy director at Hyper Poland explains: “Establishing the committee clearly shows that the EU member states recognize magrail and hyperloop as a future means of transport. It also strengthens the credibility of those solutions in the eyes of both future users and investors. With JTC 20 we have an opportunity to build the first fully homogeneous transportation system in Europe.”
The success of Hyper Poland’s second equity crowdfunding round of Hyper Poland and the development of the technology by other companies in Europe would therefore allow us to assume that these innovations will be used fully in the coming years.
We look forward to seeing it all in action!
