Huckletree Supports Parentpreneurs with Power Parents workspace Membership

by Startacus Admin
Workspace accelerator group Huckletree has launched a new membership offering for working parents, in its new space in West London.
Huckletree West in White City provides both shared workspaces and private studios to digital lifestyle businesses and now offers a Kids’ Studio where parents can work while their pre-school children play.
For just £175 a month working parents (whether entrepreneurs, influencers or creative professionals) can take on membership on a monthly basis at Huckletree West. They are able to make use of the Kids’ Studio, exclusive rates on babysitting services from Huckletree member bubble, and exclusive access to talks from parenting experts from the likes of mega-influencer Mother Pukka to the founder of Mumsnet, Carrie Longton.
Huckletree was cofounded in 2014 by Gabriela Hersham and Andrew Lynch, both parents to toddlers. They realised that there were very few coworking spaces in London offering childcare facilities or support, making it difficult for working parents to both grow their businesses and benefit from being part of a supportive startup community. Gabriela recently wrote this article on Medium to highlight their plans to build a parent-friendly workspace.
Based in London and recently Dublin, the latest London base Huckletree West, opened its doors in September 2017, and already home to some ‘parentrepeneur’ focused businesses such as Apps bubble, Mush (Mush - this the third mention of their mum / parent support and networking app on Startacus in the last few weeks alone!) and changing bag company Tiba + Marl.
Gabriela Hersham said: “We’ve personally witnessed our friends’ struggle to find killer workspace where children are welcome and we’re set on offering the solution. At Huckletree West, we’re creating a space where every single type of Power Parent can come together to build, or grow, their empires.”
Startacus says. A workplace which also supports working parents by providing onsite childcare - and we've heard of a couple (eg. Third Door, a Workhub & Nursery which is also based in London), well this might offer a decent space and place for some mum and dads to work and a real alternative to the work-from-home-with-kid-in-the-arm reality that many working parents learn (or not) to embrace!
So that's why it's really great to read about Huckletree and their new Power Parents Membership option in their new West London space. Hi-5's.
Huckletree members and external guests are invited to attend a Power Parents event on March 1st featuring parent vlogger and flexible working campaigner, Anna Whitehouse and Gabriela Hersham, Huckletree’s Founder and CEO, talking on the topic of Parenting and Always-On-Work.
