Hubble gives you the space to find your startup a home

by Startacus Admin

In a previous article The Changing Face of Co-Working Spaces, we mentioned Hubble and since they raised £1.2m in funding at the beginning of June, we thought it would be quite timely to look at them in a little more detail.
We have learned two main things while doing this. The first is that it can be surprisingly simple to find the right co-working space if
someone gives you the right platform from which to search. The second is that it’s harder than you might think to make up a pun about a startup with the same name as a giant space telescope!
Hubble is on a mission to cut out (or more accurately, just replace) the middleman when it comes to locating a co-working space. Simply choose your location - currently only London or Manchester - as well as how many desks you need and what kind of style you want - creative, corporate, or ‘luxury’ - and Hubble will show you all the possibilities.
When you find a space you like the look of, its page will give you all the info you’d need to know. At the top are the obvious openers: pictures, cost and type (i.e. hot desk, fixed desk, private office), number of desks available, and a button to request a viewing. Next is a handful of key features, 4 workspace highlights, and an ‘about us’.
Then it gets down to more detailed information with basics such as whether it has 24 hour access, a mailing address, meeting rooms, etc., and additional details such as whether pets are allowed, if it has a gym, if tea and coffee are provided, and so on. Lastly, it goes a step further and gives a ‘neighbourhood guide’, which is a little map showing places of interest around the workspace. The one we randomly clicked into showed a pizza place, restaurant, cafe, art gallery, organic grocery, and a boutique.
All of this detailed simplicity, plus the fact that Hubble will help negotiate a deal and aid with legals and paperwork, all for free, means that using the platform is an easy option for any startup or freelancer looking for a space to work from.
With £1.2m now in the bag, we’d expect to see this digital platform growing further and hopefully being rolled out nationally over the coming months. We look forward to hearing more about this star of a startup, now they’ve been given the space to expand and further develop their proposition.
Congrats Hubble on your recent investment success!
