Host of Ideas launches Autumn Awards

by Startacus Admin
Ideas + funding? What's not to love! We take a look at Host of Ideas, a platform that aims to connect these two vital elements together.
Recently launched and currently in BETA, Host of Ideas aims to be the go-to place for investment both in the UK and the States.
Host of Ideas also runs 3 month long competitions with ten awards celebrating brilliant startups in 10 fast-growing market sectors, with categories ranging from disruptive tech innovations and sustainability concepts, to ventures creating awesome customer entertainment experiences, home-focused products, and breakthrough B2B services.
Host of Ideas Founder Will Andrews says “We’re excited about the launch of our Autumn Series and are already getting some fantastic ventures registering for our Awards. We want to make the most of our international positioning by linking up investors and entrepreneurs from around the world. There are a lot of great ideas originating from Europe, and substantial financial backing available in the U.S. – it’s our aim to bridge the gap between the two.”
With offices in London and Chicago, and with a list of high-profile investors on its books, Host of Ideas aims to be the go-to site for entrepreneurs around the world seeking early-stage funding.
The Autumn Series Awards has ten themed categories to enter and the winners receive a free Host of Ideas Silver account which allows access to the sites investors for 3 months, an increased press coverage and greater visibility among the wider investor community.
Startacus will keep an eye on this platform to see if it delivers and wishes all the competition entries well too!
The Autumn Series Awards is now open for applications and runs until the 3rd December 2012.
