HealthyHealth wants a preventative not reactive healthcare system

by Startacus Admin

HealthyHealth are on a mission is to build a preventative rather than reactive healthcare system for customers, encouraging healthy behaviour through an algorithm and research data predicting one's risk for medical conditions based on their lifestyle data.
Health and insurance are intrinsically linked.
TrackActive which uses a chatbot and artificial intelligence to diagnose musculoskeletal problems and deliver personalised exercise programs, has established a collaboration partnership with General Reinsurance Group, the largest health and life reinsurer worldwide. DeadHappy has just launched as the UK’s first fully digital pay-as-you-go life insurance provider.
So there now was one obvious startup to write about...
London-based HealthTech and InsurTech startup HealthyHealth are encouraging healthy behaviour through a algorithm and research data predicting one's risk for medical conditions based on their lifestyle data.
HealthyHealth offers two products: HH OneClick and HH Prevent. HH OneClick is a revolution for the way insurers underwrite. It uses digital data to remove most of the questions required, reduce a large percentage of medical exams, and adjust extra mortalities to result in a more accurate, automated, quicker, fairer process.
HH Prevent is for the end user - an app that helps them to manage the risks predicted by the HH OneClick process. Rather than general, generic health risks, the app is tailored to the specific risks that are relevant to the user. These cover 200 medical conditions, including 38 types of cancer, diabetes, CHD, depression, dementia, and more. A personalised daily plan is drafted for you, and HealthyHealth says this decreases hospitalisation risk by 9% per year.
HealthyHealth is a crucial tool for insurers, employers, pension providers, public health institutions, and more. And because it is a preventative rather than reactive system, it is as good for the user being insured. All of this is probably why HealthyHealth has headed over to Silicon Valley to be a part of the Plug and Play new InsurTech cohort and why we think, if all goes according to plan, they have a healthy future themselves.
