HealthTech startups sought for Greater Manchester Future of Health Challenge

by Startacus Admin

Does your healthtech startup have a solution that improves the experience of those with dementia or frailty, the delivery of primary care and outpatient services, or the improvement of health prevention and public health? If so, the 12-week Greater Manchester Future of Health Challenge, could be for you.
Led by UP Ventures, the Greater Manchester Future of Health Challenge will shortlist a number of healthtech startups and scaleups to join the 12-week programme.
Startups and entrepreneurs will gain unrivalled access to healthtech decision-makers and mentors in the greater Manchester area through UP’s close partnerships with industry, the NHS and engaged investors.
Based at The Landing, the technology incubator at the heart of MediaCityUK, selected startups will be required to attend one day per week, making it a workable and flexible commitment for all involved, with companies able to send different senior people over the 12-week period.
With UP Ventures not looking for cash or equity to join the programme, startups on the programme can benefit from access to an unrivalled group of health experts from industry and the NHS, private and corporate investors, experienced and senior health industry mentors and support in the form of specialist masterclasses.
The leading startup from the cohort will then be awarded $100k in Google Cloud credits, with smaller Google Cloud awards for other outstanding participants. These can be used towards technical enablement through architecture & design sessions, technical office hours and access to Google Healthcare APIs.
Run in partnership with Novartis and others including Push Doctor, Google, MediaCityUK, The Landing, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, Salford Digital, Health Innovation Manchester, and Apadmi, this is a great opportunity for healthtech startups looking to grow and scale innovative healthtech products and services.
Applications are welcome until the closing date of July 18th, 2019, with the programme launching on September 10th and running until December 3rd. For full programme focus details, programme eligibility and to make that all-important application, visit the UP Ventures Greater Manchester Future of Health Challenge landing page asap.
Good luck!
