ultraIoTWe recently heard about CRL's Demo Day, taking place this week coming (25th Jan ‘18) and thought it was a good opportunity to have a look at a handful of tech startups that we haven’t featured before and are (hence the link), the latest hardware focused cohort to finish the London based CRL Accelerator programme.

From entertainment to accessibility to health and wellbeing, this is a group of interesting hardware focused startups with some pretty revolutionary products, such as:

ULTRA IoT

ULTRA IoT, based in both London and Amsterdam, creates custom Internet of Things solutions for their customers, and is currently developing an IoT development toolkit that they say will help anyone to build their own IoT devices without much technical skills.

BrightSign

Wearable tech startup BrightSign makes a wireless data glove which translates sign language into both spoken word and text, to better bridge the gap between those who rely on sign language and those who do not understand it, without the need for a translator.

third skinThird Skin

Third Skin is an ecosystem of wearables to augment our sensory experiences with digital content and put the humanity back into technology. Shown on Indiegogo, with 186% of their goal, is their hybrid air/bone-conduction wireless earphones.

WISP

Wisp is a project delivering wearable IoT technology developed by women for women and their partners to enhance female sexual well-being. They aim at empowering women by shifting a taboo topic into daily conversation, bringing partners closer to each other and enhancing the quality of intimacy.

MATR

MATR is a small and portable, yet powerful, air purifier that can remove gases, pollutants, and allergens from the air. It features a removable, wearable air quality tracker, and connects with your smart home for added convenience and accessibility.

toniksoundTonik

UK-based Tonik offers innovative, intuitive and affordable hardware that will revolutionise the way that people write, record and perform music by blending acoustic and electronic instrumentation. Time to learn more than that one chord.
