Handshield - the hand protection wrap

If we can state and dumb down the obvious for a moment, one of the biggest worries during this pandemic is being in a situation where you contract the virus from someone. This isn’t only done by being coughed on, but also through touching a contaminated surface.
While this isn’t perhaps as big a worry as we thought at the beginning of the pandemic, even without COVID-19, getting germs all over yourself through touching a public surface that hundreds of other people have put their hands on in the last hour is a concern for many people at any time, most notably those who are immuno-compromised.
Italian company Handshield Mediterranean S.L. has created a hand protection wrap for this very purpose.
The Handshield is a wrap that you can easily clip on to things like shopping trolley handles and public transport handrails, and is treated with a patented ‘Si Bac-Pure’ formula proven to be effective against viruses and bacteria. The wrap, which comes in 3 sizes, is washable, and the formula remains in place for 100 washes before you need to change to another Handshield, making it more cost-effective and just as easy to remember as your mask.
In January, Handshield made the move to America, where it is available solely through AB TRADE SRL. This wider availability will be good in the future, but in particular during this pandemic, due to the number of people who, despite their fear of the virus, still have to go shopping for food every week.
Home delivery isn’t possible for everyone, be it because of their location or because their supermarket is only delivering to the most vulnerable, and so having just one more defence is welcome peace of mind.
