Doing your best to help your business grow rapidly and effectively requires a lot of focus and dedication, and sometimes there can be too much on your plate.
That’s where growth hacking can come into play.
Not familiar with the term? It refers to a marketing technique that can help you gain coverage for your business in the most effective and simple way possible. There are a lot of different tools out there which aim to help you help your business grow, and in a bid to help, we’ve compiled a list of what we believe are some of the best tools out there.
HitTail
Unfortunately, Google have recently stopped providing the keywords people use to find your website, but with HitTail you’ll still be able to track them and keep an eye on what people are searching. It will automatically import your Google keywords every day, which means that you will always have access to the data - helping you improve your marketing.
MailChimp
Mailchimp is an email marketing service provider that lets you keep track of email subscriptions and make sure you’re emailing the right people at the right time. You can send automated emails based on customer preferences and behaviour and even recommends the best time to send your emails. Mailchimp also gives you access to advanced analytics so that you can monitor sales and customer activity! Their email designer will also help you create emails that are creative yet fit your brand. They currently have three membership plans; ‘entrepreneur’, ‘growing business’ and ‘high volume sender’.
Outbrain
If you’re a journalist or write content regularly, you’ll know that it’s sometimes really difficult to find ideas for content that are informative, interesting and relevant at the same time. You use a search engine to get to content that you know you’re looking for, so why not use the content discovery engine Outbrain to find something you didn’t even know you were looking for? Outbrain wants to help publishers discover interesting content. Their Discovery Modules also showcase your most valuable and engaging content. If you have a case of writer's block and are struggling to brainstorm this is a good place for you.
Canva
Canva enables absolutely anyone to become a designer. It is an online graphic design tool that makes the process of designing fun for everyone, and no skills are required to be able to use it. Whether you’re a professional or complete newbie, the easy to use interface means that you can design just about anything - from business cards to presentations and graphics for your blog. There is absolutely no sign up required and you can connect directly with Facebook or Google to get started. Still interested?
Geckoboard
Geckoboard integrates with the services you use everyday . It the quickest and simplest way to import and keep track of all your website’s data at once. The dashboard’s interface is simple yet pleasing to the eye and it means that you can connect your data with absolutely no maintenance or fuss.
HootSuite
Hootsuite is a fantastic social media management system which was created in 2008. It allows you to conveniently manage your social networking feeds at once and update all of your feeds at once. You can even create content and create a schedule so that you can post content later in the day or throughout. You can update your Facebook, Twitter or even your Google+ accounts. It is simple, easy to use and takes the hard part out of updating your social networks as sometimes updating them manually can be too tedious, and perhaps you simply don’t have the time? It is also browser-based so it requires no downloading. It is free to use, but you can upgrade to premium membership for even more useful features.
