Go with the Phlo

by Startacus Admin
Phlo - the innovative app which is providing a real-time NHS pharmacy delivery service, operating across the UK

All it takes is running a little late for work and the detour to the pharmacy gets thrown out the window, or a meeting that runs through the lunch break you were going to use to get your prescription, or any number of small things that we put first. Up to 50% of the medication prescribed in the UK is not taken correctly, and this includes not taking it at all. While not all of the reasons for this can be addressed in one go, the issue of not picking up prescriptions certainly can be.
Glasgow-based Organised Health has made addressing this issue its mission. With what they say is the UK’s first full service digital pharmacy, their Phlo app makes it easy to keep up with repeat prescriptions by having them delivered at a time and to a place that suits you.
Everything is managed simply and conveniently from within the app, allowing you to keep track of your NHS prescriptions in one place and put in orders for refills at your convenience. And just as in a physical pharmacy, users can live chat to a pharmacist in the app should they need advice.
This is in the same vein as Echo, which we featured a while ago, though the Phlo app is currently available only for iOS devices and coming soon to Android.
Phlo has launched in London and will be expanding across the UK over the next 24 months, giving power over prescription, and therefore adherence, to the individual.
