Get Involved in London Technology Week

by Startacus Admin
If you are all interested in technology and enterprise, chances are you’re aware that London has become one of the world’s most innovative cities for technology; it’s a hotbed for creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation.
Because of this, London Technology Week is one of the most successful technology festivals in the world. Last year, over 40,000 people attended the festival which had an impressive 203 events to choose from. Like us, you’ll be happy to hear that the festival will be back this year, from June 15th-21st with even more to offer!
At the festival, business folk are encouraged to come together from around the globe in celebration of entrepreneurship and technology through workshops, lectures, and meetings covering an array of different topics including IT, gaming, finance, science, wearables, and crucially the changing role of technology in enterprise.
Next week we’ll be giving you the rundown of some of the best events taking place, but for now we would like to highlight a great opportunity that London technology Week brings; the chance to host an event of your very own.
Sounds intriguing, doesn’t it?
Thankfully, the festival covers a broad spectrum of topics relating to the technological world so you’ll know exactly where you fit in. The key areas up for discussion are;
· Coming to London & going global
· Diversity
· Innovation & growth
· Investment & funding
· Social impact
· Talent & education
Hosting an event at the festival, big or small, is a fantastic opportunity, but if you’re interested it’s important to remember that you’ll need to be quick as there isn’t much time left before the festival! Still interested? There’s just a few things that you need to do:
Submit the event details using the form on their registration page (Note it must be a physical event)
Await approval from the London Technology Week team (They will need to ensure that your event meets their criteria)
Once you have approval, follow the link they send you through email to process your event host administration fee.
It’s definitely something to think about if you are trying to play a more active role within the London technology scene, and even if you don’t want to host an event, we encourage everybody who’s interested to check out the festival for themselves and see what it’s all about!
