Freeagent Giving Away £5k Towards Small Business Tax Bill

by Startacus Admin
We’re delighted to bring you news that our friends over at FreeAgent are once again giving away £5k towards one small business' tax bill, to help make the whole process a little bit sweeter.
The competition will take the form of a prize draw, which is automatically open to any Ltd. company Director or Sole Trader who subscribes to FreeAgent and submits their self assessment tax return to HMRC through their innovative and straightforward 'Fast File' feature. This is the only UK software that allows you to forego HMRC online, but it also completes 90% of sole traders’ self-employment forms automatically from their existing account information; isn't that a nifty trick!
The deadline for submissions to HMRC is midnight on January 31st, so be sure you get yours done and dusted by then.
This is the second year that the folks at FreeAgent have run this fabulous competition, with last year’s £5k tax bill prize being scooped by Scottish metal working company Moray Metals; a nice little start to the year for them, and this time it could be you!
Ed Molyneux, CEO and co-founder of FreeAgent, said: “Our mission is to make life easier for small businesses across the UK when it comes to managing their finances - so we’re thrilled to not only be offering more people than ever the ability to complete and submit their tax returns from within FreeAgent, but also the chance to win their tax bill!"
“Completing and filing tax returns can be a headache for many small business owners, but our Fast File feature is helping to simplify Self Assessment and alleviate some of the anxiety and stress that people traditionally feel when submitting their tax returns"
FreeAgent is the UK's market leader in online accounting services specifically designed for small businesses, sole traders, and freelancers. Last week they shared their expert last minute tips on completing your self-assessment tax return with us, so why not check it out for some handy advice.
More information about Fast File and details about how to enter the ‘Win Your Tax’ draw can be found at: http://www.freeagent.com/l/winyourtax and don't forget to download their 'Self Assessment Survival Kit' which is crammed with essential info, explanations and handy tips!
