Free Office Space for Startups

by Startacus Admin
If you are a startup who is considering availing of the recently launched Startup Loans scheme, there is now an additional benefit to applying.
As well as receiving a £2500 micro loan and access to business mentoring provided by the government, the serviced office provider Regus has now pledged to provide £20 million of free office space to any successful applicants of the scheme.
Regus will provide any successful startups with :
- 6 months’ access to their 160+ business lounges in the UK as well as access to their entire worldwide network of 120 sites
- discounted rates on some of the company’s other services including their mail handling and call answering service as well as a high profile business address.
James Caan, former Dragons’ Den star and chairman for the scheme feels that the Regus support is proven evidence of how much the private sector is behind the scheme. Whether further companies will get on board and add additional incentives, only time will tell.
Applicants for the Startup Loans scheme must be:
- aged between 18-24
- living in England
- and thinking about starting a business
If you meet that criteria and are interested in applying for the scheme it has to be done via their Facebook page and with the first loans going to be issued in September, perhaps it’d be wise to get your application in now.
