Foodpreneur Fest 2014

by Startacus Admin
Involved in a food related startup? Perhaps you run an amazing street food stall or you’re a craft brewer extraordinaire? Well, if you do, the folk over at Virgin Startup have just launched an initiative which would be well worth a look.
They’ve created Foodpreneur Fest - an amazing opportunity for food startups all across the UK to showcase what they’re about to a panel of food experts, thereby getting some real recognition for their innovative, ingenious and often exciting work.
Entries are currently being sought for the following 4 categories:
Best looking New Brand
If you feel that you’ve created a food brand that could sit on the supermarket shelves with the big guys - this is for you.
Tastiest Startup
If you run a fab pop-up bakeries, burrito stall or you’re simply bringing quality street food to the masses, this has your name all over it.
Most Loved Kid’s Food
If your goal is to ensure that chicken nuggets are a thing of the past on a kid’s menu, then this is where you come in.
Best Healthy Food Business
No food comp could be complete without focusing on the healthy stuff, could it? So if your food business is helping other people have healthier diets, then this is the category for you.
So how to apply? Well...simply enter online via the Virgin site before midnight on September 1st. Yep. You read that right! September 1st!
No time to waste then!
Good luck to any of you foodies who do!
