FindBakers - the baking marketplace

by Startacus Admin

FindBakers is an innovative online platform and marketplace that lets local bakers sell their tasty bakes & treats directly to customers

Market growth analysis tells us that one of the fastest growing markets in the UK in April, when the lockdown was beginning for a lot of people, was baking goods, rising (another pun, you’ll see) by nearly 50%. The problem, of course, is that the very reason this market rose like this is also the reason that these new bakers are hard pressed to make any money from their endeavours.
Enter Lancashire’s Yasmin Sid and her 10 years of experience in building bakery brands, marketing, and tech. Her platform, FindBakers, is built to bring together all kinds of bakers for customers to find them and purchase from them easily.
Not only can customers discover a new baker every day with new baked goods and different takes on those we’d had bef-- Hold on, we need to get a napkin for the drool... Bakers can set up their pages and products with specific dietary requirements that they cater to so that customers can be certain of what they are getting, as well as handily searching products via those requirements.
From everyday cakes and muffins, to bread, to gifts for any occasion, FindBakers is aiming to be the only place you need to visit. The site also contains recipes (only 3 right now) so that you can get started on your own baking hobby. For anything that is not immediately obvious, there is a personal baker page for you to work with the team directly to find what you are looking for.
We would attempt to end this with another pun, but we’re too busy browsing the site for everything with chocolate...
