fethr - the startup revolutionising how friendships are made

The lowdown on fethr, the innovative new startup that's on a mission to disrupt how you socialise, helping you find compatible friends whenever and wherever you want
Let’s face it - the pandemic has had a pretty huge impact on all aspects of our lives and has changed our perspective on lots of things too. All those things we took for granted…like friendship, for example!
Well the good news is that research by fethr, a fab new London-based startup, indicates that things are looking up and that the return to socialising after Covid will mark the beginning of a golden age for our social lives!
Their research has shown that more time has been spent reflecting on friendships, remembering good times and this has in turn brought a new and deeper appreciation for social connection.
With over half of their respondents feeling positive about socialising now in comparison to before the pandemic and with more people wanting to meet new people to regrow their friendship circles and to get out of their comfort zones and try new things, it’s clear that there’s a real desire to focus on a social life once more.
And whilst online tools like Zoom et al have played their part in keeping us connected to an extent, now that restrictions are easing and the vaccine roll-out continuing, it’s time to ditch the screens and embrace the real world once again.
As fethr founder and CEO Julian Issa said, ‘People are really excited to get out there and reconnect with old friends this summer. They also want to add more excitement into their social lives. A large part of this will be making new connections, given the lack of opportunities over the past 16 months.’
And that is exactly where fethr will step in! The app has been designed to help revolutionise how we make compatible friends. It’s not simply making it easier to create new connections - it’s about ensuring that those connections are with people with compatible interests and values.
Fethr is on a mission to help you “find those mates you just haven’t met yet” - and as we all try and rebuild our social lives after a pretty turbulent 18 months, we reckon that sounds pretty amazing! Why not sign up now for early access?
