eSwapp - machine-learning and skill-sharing

by Startacus Admin
eSwapp is a London-based SaaS startup that has created a machine-learning powered skill-sharing platform that actively encourages sharing and learning skills
The best team to have working for you is one that not only works together in sync, but one in which team members can learn from each other, be it improving their existing skills or learning entirely new ones. Humans are built to want to always learn and improve, and employers are built to want employees who can learn and improve, so it’s a win-win! Skill sharing can also bring a team together in a shared sense of accomplishment and...teamness, further helping their synchronicity.
London-based SaaS startup eSwapp has taken this idea and created a machine-learning powered skill-sharing platform that actively encourages sharing and learning skills. With eSwapp, team members choose what skills they can share with others and what skills they want to learn. This not only enables your team to help each other improve, but also highlights potential gaps in your team’s skills and knowledge.
eSwapp uses Machine-learning in several ways - capture, upskill, benchmark, and prediction. With this, the platform provides actionable insights into your team’s current skills, analysis of those skill gaps, how the business compares to industry standards, and it provides you with skill predictions to make informed decisions.
In 2019, eSwapp - founded in 2018 by Uyen Ngo, a former marketer for multinationals such as GlaxoSmithKline, and Ghazal Diani, formerly of RBS and Goldman Sachs - was one of only 14 businesses chosen by the UK government for an artificial intelligence mission to the Netherlands. Now, in November 2020, they have announced that it has raised £350,000 in pre-seed private investment, which will be used to bring in more staff and fine-tune the product.
