Entrepreneuring is… A New Startup Blockbuster

by Startacus Admin
Here at Startacus we spend quite a bit of our time discussing business accelerators… the huge variety of programmes going on out there really gives us something to sink our startup teeth into. And it would seem that we are not the only ones who are inordinately (and lets face it disproportionately) excited by these polytunnels of the business world as we are regularly inundated with requests for advice from you lovely folks.
We answer as best we can of course, but there is only so much we can get across…
The other day we thought to ourselves ”hmmm if only there was a feature length documentary which followed the progress of a selection of startup businesses as they journeyed through an accelerator, over a five month period, recording their high and lows, and giving the audience a real sense of what the process is like…”
By complete coincidence (that’s right...coincidence) one of our favourite such accelerators Entrepreneurial Spark is doing just that! Yes on the 3rd of February the folks from Entrepreneurial Spark will be strutting their stuff on the red carpet of the Glasgow Cineworld for the global premiere of “Entrepreneuring is…”. It's their new feature length documentary which (incidentally) follows the progress of a selection of startup businesses as they journey through the accelerator, over a five month period, recording their highs and lows, and giving the audience a real sense of what the process is like... Perfect!
Entrepreneurial Spark
As far as startup accelerators go, Entrepreneurial Spark (or Espark if you’re hip and cool like us) is pretty darn good. It’s an intensive programme in which new businesses are “hot housed” for 5 months in one of three “hatcheries’” in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Ayrshire. They are given office space, business mentoring and advice in order to push their businesses forward… and best of all its 100%, hand-on-heart, no strings attached, absolutely free!
We are really impressed with Espark’s willingness to go the extra mile in support of their startup programme and reckon that “Entrepreneuring is…” will be a real hit with business brains and startup students alike!
Tickets for the premiere are on sale now - click here for all the info you will need!
