Entrepreneurial Spark launches the Nest

by Startacus Admin
Entrepreneurial Spark is back on the hunt, and this time for Scottish based startups looking to continue their entrepreneurial journey and business development.
We've featured Entrepreneurial Spark a few times here on Startacus. In fact the Scottish based social enterprise that offers regional accelerators in Scotland, has done a pretty good job in impressing us. From guest blogs from some of their resident Scottish startups, to their #GoDo mentality and their proactive use of social media to make an impression. We think they rock.
So, love-in done, here’s the lowdown. E-Spark are again looking to develop the services they are offering to Mr or Mrs Scottish startup with the launch of the Entrepreneurial Spark Nest – the next stage in the start-up support offered in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Ayrshire.
The Nest is a one year growth programme for businesses trading between 6 months and 5 years old, continuing the 'chicklet' commitment that E-Sparks have offered to SMEs as they grow and develop.
The new Nest spaces will provide 12 months free business support, office space, IT, and networking opportunities for ventures in the growth stage of their entrepreneurial journey.
All the official details and criteria can be found via the E-Sparks site, but here are 4 main points worth noting:
1. It’s free for up to 12 months
2. No equity is taken
3. Your business needs to be trading from between 6 months and 5 years and have less thanor up to £2 million turnover.
4. You have until the 16th January to apply
So there you have it. We reckon this is a pretty fab level of free support and even if not for you - do share this news with your Scottish friends and startup colleagues. They’ll thank you for it!
Good luck to all you Scottish self starters who apply.
