Time is a very funny thing when you’re an entrepreneur, you boot your computer up in the morning, write an email, blink and it’s midday, grab a speedy lunch, blink again and it’s four o’clock. Every day I work through a to-
do list that not only never seems to diminish but everything on it seems to take at least 3 times longer than I entrepreneur timeneed it to!
Time moves very fast in the entrepreneurial universe and before you know it, it’s five o’clock and you can’t get hold of any non-entrepreneurs who you rely on for your business so contacting them goes onto the next day’s to-do list – look it just re-doubled in length again!
This odd entrepreneurial time phenomenon also seems to apply the other way too, in that projects which you think will take 3 months will probably take at least 6 - cue frantic flicking through calendar pages to re-evaluate targets.
This entrepreneurial time-warp has got to go into Room 101 so that I can get more done in my waking hours and get projects completed in their estimated time-frame!
