Enterprise Apps World Returns to London

by Startacus Admin
Few tech topics are hotter at the moment than that of ‘mobile’, and for businesses hoping to keep abreast of all the latest developments and reap the benefits for their enterprise, now is the time to take action.
This is of course much easier said than done, as emerging technologies pose great challenges for the forward thinking business, as well as offering enormous potential benefits.
The adoption of new technology alongside legacy IT systems, the necessary infrastructural improvements, the security threats, the data management challenges and more pose great impediments to true implementation of ‘mobile’ in enterprises.
Cue ‘Enterprise Apps World’, a really exciting London event for IT decision makers, managers, architects and developers, which will help demystify the benefits, processes, solutions, and intricacies of seizing mobile technologies for use within enterprises.
All sounds very technical and complicated? Fear not - here’s a quick rundown of what it’s all about.
Enterprise Apps World
As part of their global series of conferences focused on the issues surrounding the app ecosystem, Apps World’s business focussed ‘Enterprise Apps World’ sits alongside their flagship UK event in November, as two of London’s most popular technology celebrations.
The two-day long event is taking place at the Olympia Grand in London from 24th - 25th June and is co-located with the Cloud World Forum, one of the world’s only events to specifically examine the issues of cloud computing.
This year fresh and high level content will be delivered within two dedicated tracks which cater to the tastes of both enterprises and developers; the agendas of these tracks are ‘Confronting the Enterprise Mobility Challenge’ and ‘B2enterprise App Development’.
Confronting the Enterprise Challenge
As its title suggests, this two day agenda will convey critical lessons with case studies describing how CIOs and their teams have succeeded in managing the key mobile issues facing businesses including BYOD, user engagement, mobile security, API management, MDM & MAM, as well as best practice in controlling Shadow IT and managing custom app stores.
B2enterprise App Development
This track of Enterprise Apps World is a response to the need for developers to exchange knowledge and experiences on how to develop a highly performing app that will engage the user and improve the employee’s experience with mobility. Discussions on achieving intuitive UX design, securing the apps, development methodologies, Hybrid Vs Native, APIs and more will take place for 2 days to maximise your understanding of the ecosystem and improve your skills!
This is the second year that Enterprise Apps World has taken to the stage in London, and this time round promises to further cement it as a mainstay of the capitals tech calendar. The 2 days are expected to be attended by over 8,000 people as well as 200 exhibitors from leading solution providers, and a fantastic line-up of over 300 industry leading guest speakers including;
• Giles Peyton-Nicoll, Design Manager, Google Android for Work
• Marc van der Heijden – SVP Global IT - Head Infrastructure & Security – Adidas
• Imran Younis, Global Head of UX, LateRooms.com
• Melanie Yencken, Design Team Leader, Gumtree
• Marc Woods, Mobile Technology End-User Experience and Engagement Delivery Lead, Transport for London
• Bride Trozelli, UX Designer, Deutsche Bank
• Helene Sears, Senior UX Architect, Guardian News and Media
• Sarah Weller, Managing Director, Mubaloo
• Simon Tarry, Software Engineering Manager, Ticketmaster
