Weekly10 want to make people happier and more successful at work, with their regular, lightweight 10 minute check-in for employees.

When you work in a big company, it is very easy to feel like your role in it is unappreciated and like you don’t have a voice. Managers are busy with their own work, and weekly10grabbing them to talk to can seem selfish, and so we often end up not sharing whatever issues we may be having or giving our feedback on things, sharing achievements, etc. This can lead to anything from good ideas going unheard to employees simmering in quiet rage about something they feel unable to share.

This is where Wrexham-based startup Weekly10 comes in. With Weekly10, employees can take 10 minutes every week to check-in, giving feedback and updates, sharing weekly10personal work goals, and more. Managers will then read this, respond to it, and take any necessary action. This gives managers a direct line to each employee to ensure that they are being heard, and customisable questions mean that they can get the exact insights they are looking for as well.

It is designed to support a structured and continuous lightweight goal setting and review cycle. Employees and managers can set goals continuously throughout the year and align them to organisational objectives.

Weekly10 also employs AI to estimate sentiment from employee updates and provide an accurate insight into the feelings, thoughts, and attitudes of an organisation without direct questioning, allowing you to build an aggregated view of how your employees really feel before even asking.

This busy year, Weekly10 moved into residence at the Wrexham Enterprise Hub, made it into the regional finals of the prestigious PitchAtPalace, and were nominated for a Wales Start-Up award.

Now, in August, they have been awarded a 6-figure seed funding package from startup funding competition, The Start-Up Series. This has already gone towards expanding the team, and they are planning further hires and a series of marketing activities aimed at helping to build exposure and penetration in a number of foreign and domestic markets...
