Drive with Belron Accelerator seeks disruptive Startups

The world’s leading vehicle glass repair and replacement service provider Belron is back on the hunt for innovative startups to joins its ten week accelerator Drive.
Launched last year, Belron is again looking to find innovative startups with disruptive solutions that can help them to improve operations and discover new ways of working.
Run in partnership with innovation specialists and early-stage investors L Marks, Belron are looking for Startups (both early-stage and growing) who are developing an exciting new product or service in one of the following areas for their Drive with Belron programme.

CUSTOMER CONVERSION - Belron are looking for Startups that can help convert every potential Belron customer, however they make contact.

SERVICE EXPERIENCE - Belron are looking for startups that help Belron customers help themselves to get the service experience they want.

CAPABILITY & ENGAGEMENT - Belron are looking for Startups that can offer innovative ways to deliver training & connect and facilitate easy communication to their people.

SUPPORTING INSURERS - Belron are looking for Startups that can help their insurance partners retain or upsell to their policyholders, or that can help them handle their claims (including vehicle glass) more efficiently.

DIGITAL PROBLEM SOLVING - Belron are looking for ideas, products or services that could leverage their strengths in vehicle glass repair and replacement, while disrupting the solution to other types of everyday problems that people have.
Selected Startups will be given the opportunity to:

Trial its product/solution in a ready-made international market.

Take part in sponsored trips to your partner country.

Gain mentorship from Belron insiders to help you improve your product.

Gain mentorship from top international entrepreneurs.
-
Have dedicated office / desk space at the Belron UK offices in Egham
-
Gain access to investment from a fund of £200,000

Be given the chance to secure a contract with Belron
Sorry as a Service, a Startacus Startup of the Week from 2016, took part in the first Drive programme and Belron ended up investing £50k with innovation partner, L Marks, matching the investment.
The process:
Applications are open until the 29th January 2017 and a number of Startups will then be shortlisted to pitch (on the 17th March) to a Belron panel why your startup and solution would be right for the programme.
Belron welcomes startups at every stage, from anywhere in the world, and with innovative ideas or solutions, to apply for a chance to pitch their ideas to the Belron UK team in March. However, bear in mind that International startups may need a visa to participate in the accelerator, plus startups are required to travel to both the UK and participating Belron countries during the programme.
If your startup is then successfully chosen to take part in the programme, collaboration with Belron will start on the 10th April with a demo day then taking place on the 26th June.
