Disney Accelerator - call for entries

by Startacus Admin
If you’re a tech startup in the media and entertainment arena, then the recently launched Disney Accelerator would be well worth a look.
The Disney Accelerator will see 10 startup companies taking part in a 3 month program in Los Angeles where they will incubate and hone their innovative media and entertainment product ideas.
Each startup who take part will receive $20,000 from the off as well as access to an additional $100,000 convertible debt note.
The program which is being run in conjunction with Techstars will also see participating startups being provided with extensive mentoring and support from a range of entrepreneurs, investors and innovators. Add to that the vast array of networking opportunities that will be on offer and it’s easy to see why this is one accelerator program that is not going to be struggling for entries!
Speaking of entries - here’s what you need to know:
Applications must be submitted via completion of an online application form where you’ll be asked everything from how you intend to find customers for your startup through to how you met your co-founders! Entries must be received by April 16th with the program set to begin itself on June 30th.
If media and entertainment is your thing, then the Disney Accelerator is a must.
Good luck to those of you who enter.
A postcard from your 3 month sojourn in LA would be nice, by the way…
