Digital Shoreditch Festival Returns

by Startacus Admin
Between you and me, there’s one thing that we at Startacus HQ probably dig more than anything else every day and that is food. Then of course, we like our coffee, our reading, writing and of course our chats and meetups with all you inspiring self starters.
So that’s why we’re delighted to report that the Digital Shoreditch Festival, which returns in May 2015, will, as well as having a strong focus on the celebration and support of the outstanding creative, technical and entrepreneurial talent of London and beyond, will also focus heavily on meetups, events, parties and dinners. Yep. Food. Mmmm!
The Digital Shoreditch Festival is one of the biggest events of its kind in Europe and will return for a mammoth two weeks from the 11th to 24th May 2015.
Proposals are currently being requested for the 2015 Festival, and include sessions, debates, workshops, meetups, parties, dinners, exhibits, tradeshow spaces, tech-tours and open houses.
Key themes from the previous Festival return for next year, alongside new topics including: Wearable Tech, Intelligent Devices and Smart Cities, Food and Health, MakerTech, DIY and Hacker, Film and Music, Space and Incubation, Business, Funding and Fintech.
Digital Shoreditch Co-Founder, and friend of Startacus, James Allsopp explained:
“Digital Shoreditch will bring together thousands of the very best talent from London, Europe and afar, for a huge two-week celebration centred right in the heart of East London. For 2015, the format is changing and we have bigger plans for the festival, with the aim of supporting even more local businesses around the area and providing festival goers with more opportunities to explore what this wonderful community has to offer.”
We’re also happy to report that alongside our co-appreciation of food, the good folk at Digital Shoreditch have awarded us with the pleasure of being a Media Partner to the two week event - hence the Startacus logo appearing here. (Self promo done!)
If you happen to work in the Shoreditch area, this Thursday and Friday (16th & 17th Oct) the guys at DS will be calling in upon the Digital Shoreditch community, sharing the love with sweet treats and taking fun snaps, whilst hearing your thoughts for #ds15.
We’ll be reporting back soon with more Digital Shoreditch news, but in the mea time, check out the DS15 website for all the news and opportunities that are available.
And if you, like the Digital Shoreditch folk appreciate the wonderful work we do here at Startacus, why not find out how you too can work with us. We’re a modest bunch really! But always hungry...
