Digital DNA upSTART 2017 increases startup pitching prize & extends deadline

by Startacus Admin

A couple of weeks ago we reported that upSTART 2017 - the startup pitching battle at Digital DNA, had increased the winner prize fund to a fab £150k in value, including £10k hard cash.
Digital DNA upSTART 2017 launched in partnership with Startacus (that’s us!), has been looking to invite UK, Irish and European Startups from specific industries, such as Data, Cyber, Fintech, SaaS, IoT and Wearables, to apply to pitch at Digital DNA. Taking place this year on the 6th and 7th of June, the two-day startup pitch competition will again take place within a boxing arena with boxing ring, lighting, judges, bells and whistles bringing the theatre of a boxing match to the stage of a startup pitch playing out over a number of rounds, with one eventual winner.
Thanks to Digital DNA, we’ve been able to secure a number of additional pitching slots. As such we have opened a final round of applications which close on Friday 5 May. The shortlist for any startups who’ve applied up until now (28 April) will be revealed on no later than Friday 5 May. The shortlist for those who apply from tomorrow (29 April) until Friday 5 May will be revealed on Friday 12 May.
You’ve got the chance to take your business to the next level so be sure to get your application in before the deadline! Good luck!
