Digital DNA Awards 2020 announced
The lowdown on the Digital DNA Awards, the awards that celebrate the best of the NI Tech industry

Digital DNA awards logoIt’s that time of year again - the nominations for the much sought after Digital DNA Awards are now open! Now in their 5th year, the Awards are a major highlight for the NI Tech Industry.

The Digital DNA Awards which are held in partnership with MCS Group, celebrate the best tech talent, from companies of all sizes, excelling in the world of Digital and Tech, not just in Northern Ireland, but further afield. There will be 13 awards being presented at the not-to-be-missed awards ceremony on 26 March 2020, with a host of engineers, developers, entrepreneurs, digital projects and startups all contending for the accolades.

Simon Bailie, CEO of Digital DNA, said he was excited about the return of what has been described as the biggest night for the Northern Ireland tech scene.

DDNA Awards previous winners“Over the past 5 years, the tech scene in Northern Ireland has undoubtedly been transformed, employing tens of thousands of people, working for some of the most forward thinking and innovative companies on the planet. During that time, the Digital DNA Awards have transformed to become the most sought-after recognition to some of the world’s most prolific digital and tech talent working in Northern Ireland.”

“The Digital DNA Awards are the only awards dedicated solely to the tech industry. Receiving a Digital DNA Award amongst peers is a huge accolade and we have found that recipients get unprecedented exposure to the tech and business community both here and further afield.”

The evening will also see the presentation of the Global Recognition Award, recognising the incredible work an individual has played in helping to grow and promote the tech industry within Northern Ireland. Previous recipients of this prestigious award have included Andrea Haughian from Invest NI and the late Brian Conlon, founder of one of Northern Ireland’s most successful companies, First Derivatives.

The calibre of winners and runners-up over the past few years has been of the highest quality so we expect that 2020 will no doubt be the same!
