Digital Derry Conference aims to build new Business Markets

by Startacus Admin
Aiming to connect digital talent with global markets is Northern Ireland's Digital Derry Conference - a two day event of speakers and workshops taking place on Wednesday 24th & Thursday 25th June.
Yep that's right, less than 10 days from now!
Northern Ireland is talking a good talk right now - one need only look at the recently launched StartPlanet NI Business Accelerator for a great example of how. In the North West the City of Derry has been leading the way with its Growing the Digital Economy programme - a programme which has offered digital and traditional business alike the chance to gain business and peer to peer mentoring, support and learning from seasoned experts. With the programme now coming to an end, the city will shortly play host to the Digital Derry Conference.
Day One of the Digital Derry Conference will feature speakers from Silicon Valley, New York, London and Europe who will share tips and strategies, that can help build a business in new markets. Then Day Two of the DD Conference will feature 4 practical workshops which will continue the theme of internationalisation as well as a Concept Clinic aimed at pre and early startup entrepreneurs, students and indeed anyone with an interest in establishing their own digital business.
Speakers confirmed so far include:
-
Ian Plunkett - TechCityUK
-
Andrew Jordan - Co-founder/CTO at VouchedFor
-
Rich Weil - Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Metaverse Mod Squad
-
Kyle Gawley - local entrepreneur and Founder of GetInvited
With more speakers still to be announced, Day One, the speakers day looks certain to be an event worth attending if building or breaking into new business markets is your thing.
Of course since Day Two, continues on this theme it is another absolute must. After all, attendees will not only get to hear from the speakers, they will also get to work with them on practical exercises that can help them take their businesses forward. As well as that attendees will also be able to avail of some fab 1:1 networking opportunities.
If this sounds like your kinda thing, why not check out the full list of speakers and programme details on the Digital Derry Conference website - and if you'd like to attend, free tickets can be claimed here
