Developers Love Bacon

by Startacus Admin
We promise not to ham up this feature on developers Love BACON - the two day tech conference about all things that developers love...(but we might...just a tad...)
Let's cut straight to the matter of the name - it stands out. BACON is a conference that not only focuses on the corporate stuff, the business stuff, but also the techy stuff that developers really like to talk about and work on - all sandwiched into two days.
You have to dig this uncorporate sounding title - too often one conference and event after another passes, all sounding in terms of title a little like the last, and of course most people love bacon - wouldn’t you agree?!
However, soundbites and bacon jokes aside, what can one expect to do and see?
Well to summarize: BACON happen's on the 12th and 13th April in the Mermaid Conference and Events Centre in London. There will be 31 tasty sessions on topics including rocketry, Go, infinity, data visualisation, and continuous deployment. Admittedly, we are no Tech Wizards, but hopefully to all you developers and Tech lovers out there - this sounds good!
With talks from established industry professionals on subjects such as “Rockets: Cool. Computers: Cool. Computer Controlled Rockets: Awesome” and “Treat your Users like Bacon” and “My Mum told me that Git does not scale”, you also know that this is a conference that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
Therefore if you are an established tech startup or have a burning desire to get yourself more involved with the London tech and developers scene - this serious but fun conference might be worth a look.
It’s not free however, so its worth noting that the kind fellows over at BACON have offered Startacus members a special discount. All you Startacus folks that want to attend can get £100 off a weekend conference and party pass, by simply sending us an email with your Startacus profile name and we’ll in turn send you your special discount code.
Simple huh?
