Developer Town
Sometimes at Startacus we like featuring some stuff that just stands out. From the best 404 page, the Pop-up Shop turned Stop-up Shop, the suitcase startup, The Obermutten Village and other such wonders - we like to think find some good ol' crackers to spread with you all.
In a world of desks, computers and beige walls it’s nice to sometimes just feature the things that inspire us - even it is just for a few minutes, before we get back to the
day to day...to day dealings of everyday life.
And this to be honest is not a feature that needs hundreds of words, it’s just a nice thing that we found that we wanted to share.
DeveloperTown is a design and development firm that gives startups and more established businesses the best chance of market success. They work in an environment where tech people alongside design people collaborate together to help startup clients launch tech companies and products in return for equity - nothing new there.
Launched back at the beginning of 2010, DeveloperTown, from the outside is just a warehouse - a warehouse like pretty much any other.
However the space inside is pretty rockin’ as we reckon this Youtube clip and also these few pics highlight.
We can’t tell you if this innovative work environment helps the creativity and flow of innovation of the startups - but we can’t but hope that other spaces and places take note - a flower pot in the corner really doesn’t count.
