Enterprise tech innovation - London-based startup Deployed has developed a scoping platform that aims to make it simpler to write, edit, and publish Statements of Work.

Deployed_Logo_Black+1BigFor a significant number of businesses, when you are in talks to start a project for someone, you need to create a statement of work. A statement of work is a formal document that outlines the specific objectives, tasks, deliverables, timeline, and other essential details of a project. It defines the scope of work to be performed, sets clear expectations on both sides, and helps manage the project effectively. It means that there are no surprises along the way for either party, and will include legal terms and conditions, ensuring that everyone’s on the same page.

Obviously, all of this is important, but the problem is that they can become messy, lazy, and inaccurate, largely due to copy-pasting from elsewhere in the name of speed and convenience. This seems, then, like a prime opportunity for a startup to come along with a platform to make things easier…

Homepage-Image-MostUpdatedLondon-based startup Deployed has created what they say is the only scoping platform that makes it simple to write, edit, and publish statements of work, “for projects that start smarter and finish stronger”. The platform allows statements of work to be put together in modules, and collaborated on easily by a team, with all changes tracked. You can use pre-approved clause libraries, conditional logic, and automatic notifications of potentially risky agreements, which makes things faster and clearer.

The platform can be scaled and customised for any size of business, any sector, and any team, be it tech or consulting, HR or procurement, and stands to make your statements of work quicker, cheaper, and more likely to succeed.

Recently, Deployed announced that they had raised $4 million in funding in a seed round led by Amrock Ventures and M12 Microsoft Ventures, with participation from Portfolio Ventures, Mayfield Fund, HERmesa, and Angel Academe. This funding will go towards furthering the development of their tech stack, growing the team, and bringing in more clients.
