CLiKD, a London-based dating app which launched in 2017, has launched a new photography competition inviting
people to submit photographs which showcase what Love means to them in London.
Aptly named ‘Love in London’, the photography competition is aimed at celebrating unity and hope in the aftermath of a turbulent year for the capital.
The aim being to unite differences and inspire the city, as well as raising funds for award winning charity PhotoVoice, a London based registered charity that promotes the ethical use of photography for positive social change, through the delivery of innovative participatory projects.

CLiKD has previously been nominated for Best New Dating App in Europe at the European Dating Awards, recommended as a Best New Dating App for Men in the Telegraph and featured on BBC Radio and the Daily Mail.
Launched on Valentine's Day 2018, the winning photo series will feature on digital signs across London tube stations and bus stops - an opportunity to display optimism and positivity for millions to see on their daily commute, with a a winner and two runners up coming from each category.
PhotoVoice CEO Tom Elkins said:
“I’m absolutely delighted to be involved with the Love in London competition. PhotoVoice’s charitable work helps people use photography to tell their side of the story and we’ve always been inspired by the images that people have created in our projects. Now, we are excited to see what people choose to submit to this competition which will celebrate what makes London such a wonderful city to live, visit and work in.”

Entry for the competition is free, but a £2 donation per image entered is strongly encouraged to support PhotoVoice’s projects worldwide. All donations will be given directly to PhotoVoice. Submissions for the competition opened on February 14th and closes on March 7th. For information, see the Love in London page on the CLiKD website.
