Data Duopoly - revolutionising the visitor experience

by Startacus Admin
Data Duopoly is a Cornwall-based tourism startup that's on a mission to drive growth at venues whilst improving the customer experience for visitors.
Many of us have probably visited tourist attractions in the past and have either been a tad confused about exactly where to go, what to see or have perhaps even missed out on seeing something we’d really wanted to. That, however, need no longer be the case, thanks to innovative startup, Data Duopoly .
The female founded-startup launched in 2018 with the mission to revolutionise visitor experiences and provide powerful data and insights for venues to improve what they do.
The Data Duopoly app features interactive maps with live routing, enabling visitors to a venue to identify where exactly they are on the site, how to get to particular areas or exhibits, or how and where they should explore. It can incorporate gamified trails and routes to help engage visitors and children in particular to really have fun and get more out of their experience.
At the same time, the venues have access to an analytics dashboard which highlights where those visitors are - although it’s entirely anonymised data of course! Data Duopoly provides live heat maps, identifying any areas of congestion so that crowds can be dispersed to quieter areas, enabling venues to incentivise movement by sending out personalised offers to customers and thereby encouraging ancillary spending.
Data Duopoly is focused on both driving growth and loyalty at venues and also increasing the value and customer experience for visitors. Everyone’s a winner!
After what has been such a challenging couple of years for the tourism sector, we reckon their innovative solution will be warmly welcomed!
