Creative Wanted for £1k Concept Cupboard & Ticketmaster Project

by Startacus Admin
Here at Startacus, we like interesting mashups between startups and big businesses - especially when it is the individual, the self starter that benefits.
In fact, check out our own recent £1k link up with Marketest for our self starter award (*self promotion done) or our feature on the £50k e-commerce startup comp that Shopify are currently running as good examples.
So when we heard about our startup friends over at Concept Cupboard and their mashup with Ticketmaster, we were intrigued.
So what's happening?
Ticketmaster are commissioning a Concept Cupboard 'creative' to produce a unique, vibrant and celebratory piece of artwork in its new International HQ in Angel, London.
Basically, in collaboration with startup Concept Cupboard, who find 'creatives' creative projects, Ticketmaster will award 1k to the proposal that best matches the project brief.
The brief being?
Ticketmaster, well they sell lots of tickets - right? And those tickets, millions of them, all hold unique memories, history, and stories. In essence it’s all about how you creative folk can turn that 'history' into a physical art installation?
As the Ticketmaster guys outline on the Concept Cupboard website:
"We would like to explore an opportunity to turn these tickets (new and old) into a unique and thought-provoking installation piece to sit within our client waiting room in our international head office (Angel, London), to not just showcase our rich and diverse history of ticketing events across the world but also highlight our vast range of cherished clients across theatre, sport, music, comedy and attractions.
Whether using the 100s of physical tickets we have to hand currently, or crowdsourcing submissions across the general public, or using digital technology to create something at scale, we would like to see how we can turn these memories into a key talking point in our Head Office, whilst working with new energetic talent which is part of our global strategy to inject some energy to the ticketing business."
About CC and Ticketmaster...

Ticketmaster (surely everyone knows this), are a global player in selling, yep you’ve guessed it - tickets to events.
