Coboat- Co Working Space on the high seas!

by Startacus Admin
Here at Startacus, we’re huge advocates of co-working. We love everything about it - from the flexibility it offers through to the opportunities it provides for making new connections and inspiring creativity.
Recently though we’ve discovered a co-working space which is like no other we’ve come across. It’s a co-working space on a boat - a boat which will be sailing the high seas as its occupants work.
Coboat (clever name huh?) is an 82 ft long catamaran which is a floating co-working space.
It will set sail in November this year and its plan is to circumnavigate the globe whilst providing a truly unique home and office space for up to 20 ‘digital nomads’ and entrepreneurs at a time.
There’ll be all the usual features you’d expect a good co-working space to have - the work area, the networking and collaborating area and of course the obligatory good quality internet connection. There’ll also be a few features that are particularly unique to Coboat! Features such as a ‘trampoline’ stretched between two hulls where co-workers can lie and dream up that next big idea, and the pit-stops which will take place at co-working hubs located in port cities.
As you’d expect for a co-working space which is far from ordinary, it’s a bit pricier than the norm.
If you’d like to spend 7 days on board, earlybird tickets are now available for €882, a 28 day trip will cost €3724 and if money is absolutely no object you can avail of the last early bird ticket for an entire year aboard for the princely sum of €45990. All earlybird tickets can be ordered now via the Coboat site.
We can’t wait to follow this adventurous lot once they set sail in November, although our following shall unfortunately be on dry land and via social media and press updates only!
