Campus Party

by Startacus Admin
Whether you’re a developer or a gamer or simply someone who’s really into tech, we reckon the upcoming Campus Party would be right up your street.
The event which is being held in London for the first time is an annual week long 24 hours-a-day festival where thousands of hackers, developers and technophiles, otherwise known as “Campuseros” get together and embrace all things tech and science related.
Over the course of the week, there are hundreds of hours of talks, debates, workshops and hackathons on all manner of subjects - from robotics through to e-commerce.
This year, it is expected that over 10,000 people will get involved and immerse themselves fully in what is billed as a truly unique and innovative environment.
To make it easier for those attending, each day has a specific content theme - covering topics as diverse as Women in Tech through to the Digital Economy.
As well as the scheduled and planned events though, there are a whole host of ad hoc events which will take place day and night, organised by Campuseros themselves. No stuffiness here - creativity and randomness are fully embraced!
Interested in attending? Here’s a few of the practicals you’ll need to know:
The event will be held at the O2 in London between 2nd - 7th September. Tickets can be obtained from the Campus Party website and there are day and week long options available, costing £15 and £30 respectively. All the other stuff - the finer details, shall we say can be found on the Campus Party site too!
If you’re going - enjoy! To say we’re a tad envious would be a slight understatement!
