In April 2016, a new global stage for tech innovation is coming to Manchester
The distinctively named Business Rocks is a Technology, Music, and Investment summit which will see one of the UK’s fastest growing tech hubs thrust into the global spotlight as over 5000 startups, developers, brands, VCs, mentors, accelerators, universities, government bodies, and media reps flood into the city.
Following in the recent tradition of ‘new age’ style tech events, Business Rocks will be focussed on delivering a unique experience for attendees with learning, pitches & and participation sitting alongside partying, music, and fun networking events.
We think Business Rocks will make a very welcome addition to the UK’s tech landscape, and provides a great opportunity to show-off one of the country’s leading economic and cultural centres!

Business Rocks will make its debut on 21st & 22nd of April at Manchesters Central’s iconic conference centre.

Investor Stage

Global Innov8 Pitch-Battle
This is the part that we are most looking forward to.
100 of the best tech startups from around the world will battle it out across 2 days in the hope of being named champion and walking away with a massive cash prize of £50,000!

Hackathon
This year Business Rocks will be making a bid to help solve the ever-growing problem of homelessness through technology with their 2-day global Hackathon.
The hackathon theme will be "How Can Technology Help Solve World Homelessness?"
This hack will educate some of the sharpest and brightest minds about the dangers, challenges and needs of the vulnerable.
