Want to build a successful tech startup? Check out this report by Tivix, the global tech innovation agency, where startup founders share their secrets for success...
A new report from global tech innovation agency, Tivix has revealed that there’s no such thing as a golden formula when building a successful technology startup.
In the report, Tivix speaks with 11 successful tech founders whose varying startup journeys prove that a prescriptive approach can be more harmful than beneficial when launching a digital product.
“The current startup ecosystem likes to believe that there is a one-size fits all approach to startup success,” Sumit Chachra, Tivix CEO says. “To prove that wrong we’ve collected stories from the most varied founders we could find; from different backgrounds, sectors and at different stages of their product journey”.
From moving countries to pivoting pricing models during a global pandemic, Tivix’s report contains insights from recent unicorn ClassPass, CharlieHR, Emma, Juro, SupplyCompass and more.
For example, Zach Apter, COO, ClassPass comments: “Almost overnight all of our studio networks couldn't operate. We couldn’t charge people on a recurring basis for a service that didn’t exist … we had to evolve quickly to fit an industry that was suddenly entirely digital.”
Whilst Richard Mabey, CEO, Juro, adds “The biggest learning for me is to keep absurdly and uncomfortably focused on the task. Identify a value path and be super clear on what you want to achieve. You have to put in the work, go the extra mile for everything and make a lot of mistakes.”
It’s clear that there are differences, but there are distinct similarities too as Sumit Chachra, Tivix CEO comments: "These entrepreneurs have years of experience and millions of dollars of investment between them but have taken the same path to success. Their common advice? Persistently listen to your customers and the rest will fall into place.”
