Britain’s Top Real Role Model

by Startacus Admin
With the job market still pretty challenging to say the least, it’s no wonder more and more students and graduates are turning towards self employment and creating their own jobs and opportunities. More self starters? That’s music to our ears here at Startacus! We are the Self Start Society after all...
Well, if you happen to be one of those students or graduates who is thinking of embarking on the entrepreneurial journey, a new comp that’s been launched by Amway UK ought to be worth a look.
Now in its third year, the Britain’s Top Real Role Model comp is looking for some of the best young enterprising and business minds to take part and win the coveted title. Not only that, but there’s also a £5k prize for the winner to help get their business idea off the ground.
To apply you’ll need to be UK based and be aged 18-25. You can either nominate yourself or be nominated through the completion of an online application form and also the optional submission of a 1 minute supporting video.
Amongst other things, if you are going to be shortlisted, you’ll need to provide evidence of your overall business and entrepreneurship skills, your belief in your own abilities and ideas and also demonstrate your passion and determination.
Shortlisted entries will then be asked to submit a detailed business plan for their idea.
All nominations must be received by noon on 1st October 2013 and the winner will be announced later in November.
Best of luck to any of you who apply - and if you’re not applying yourself, why not nominate someone else who you reckon would deserve the title and the prize! Go on...If you like what you see here on Startacus and want to get involved yourself, why not become a member of our growing community by joining for free here!
