Bristol Startup Month

by Startacus Admin
Startacus has just begun a fab new year-long series in which we will be holding a magnifying glass up to 12 of the UK and Ireland’s most burgeoning startup cities. In May we took a good long look at the Northern Ireland capital Belfast and the people, places, events and startups that make it the great self starter city that it is.
Now the spotlight swings south-westward to the banks of the River Avon and an Historic city affectionately known as ‘The biggest village in Britain’ - Bristol. Straddling the borders of Gloucestershire and Somerset in south-west england, with a population of 433,000, Bristol is the beating heart of the region and a major centre for education and commerce. It is also home to one of the liveliest and most exciting startup scenes in the entire country! Over the next 3 weeks we will exploring the exciting people, startup events, creative stirrings, news and quirky happenings that make Bristol the marvelous place that it is!
