BookEntertainment wants to offer entertainment at your fingertips

by Startacus Admin
Finding entertainment for an event just became a whole lot easier, thanks to Derry-based marketplace startup BookEntertainment.

This is rarely the case for the entertainment industry, however, which requires emails and calls to enquire, inquire, probe, pry, and question before moving on to the laborious process of scheduling the act and arranging how payment will be made. Is there any reason that the former methods can’t be applied to the latter problem?
No. But wait, let us elaborate!
Derry-based startup BookEntertainment is making it easier to book entertainers for any kind of event, from wedding singers, to bands, to magicians. It is a marketplace displaying real-time pricing and availability for you to find, research, price, and book quickly and easily.
All you have to do is input the date of your event and you can see what options are available and book directly with the entertainer or service provider all in one place. This includes the full booking admin process so that you don’t have to worry about sorting out payment down the line, and entertainers don't have to chase payments, risk not being paid at all, or spend time managing their bookings. The middleperson is safely eliminated.
In 2019, BookEntertainment went through the Ignite NI Propel Pre-Accelerator, which gave them what they needed to go on to build and grow the business, expanding across the UK to include over 2,000 registered entertainers.
Now, they are seeking investment partners to help achieve their goal of being the world's largest entertainment booking marketplace.
We look forward to seeing where their journey takes them next...
