beBusinessTV

Last week marked the release of a new YouTube channel, called beBusinessTV.
The channel is a joint project by two large Irish firms, digital company beActive and the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Programme. In essence, it’s a new YouTube channel designed specifically for “entrepreneurs, Mumpreneurs, risk takers, people with new ideas, students who are thinking outside the box and people already in business who want some inspiration on how to do it better.”
A fairly broad demographic? Well not entirely, as the channel is unabashedly directed at young people. Nonetheless, there is a great deal that anybody with an interest in enterprise and innovation can get from the featured videos. Despite being only a little over a week old, there are an impressive number of short videos already on the channel, mostly interviewing current entrepreneurs (including Sean Ryan from Aspen Grove and Paul Kenny from Cobone.com).
Other videos are planned to be added every Tuesday and Friday, and Triona Campbell – Managing Director of beActive – indicated that the long term goal will be to foster hope for those with business plans in mind, showcase the success stories and “encourage entrepreneurial thinking.”
Startacus intends to keep an eye out to see how beBusinessTV develops over the coming months.
