Beazy - the startup that's building the operating system for the creative economy

by Startacus Admin
The lowdown on Berlin-based Beazy and its innovative solution that helps teams to plan, produce and deliver creative content and helps businesses to connect with talented content creators.
Everything can benefit from creative content. Whether it’s a business trying to simply make its website look nicer or an advert stand out from the rest with a flair of beauty and creativity, or perhaps someone wanting to film professional-quality video testimonials. Something that unites the majority of people who can benefit from such creative content is their own lack of ability to create it. A product designer probably isn’t also a professional product photographer, an entrepreneur with a delivery business probably isn’t a director and cinematographer with all the cameras and tools on hand to create their own promo video. In short, we need a place where we can find people who are able to give us the creative content we need, with peace of mind that it isn’t AI-generated or inauthentic in some other way.
Berlin-based Beazy has created a platform that aims to be the hub for the creative economy - the umbrella term for connected community of creatives and clients, tools and technology, and IP. Beazy is a place that you as a business or entrepreneur can go to connect with visual creatives, be they behind or in front of the camera, as well as hire locations, equipment, and other talent that may be necessary, such as makeup artists or set dressers. In this way, all you need is an idea, and Beazy will help bring it to life. And they will literally help - if you are out of your depth and aren’t sure about everything you need, or don’t know how to manage it all, you can hire a Beazy manager to take care of everything for you, and all you’ll need to do is brief them and then approve the final quote.
Earlier this year, Beazy announced that they had brought their total funding to just over €1 million with a new funding round. Investors include BTQ Ventures, HitchHiker Ventures, and Google Black Founders Fund Europe 2022, as well as angel investors. The startup - which already boasts more than 150 shooting locations, 6,000 creatives, and all the tools you could possibly need - will use this funding to expand further, adding to the 50 countries in which it is already used.
