The 14-year old entrepreneur who started a beauty business this year and is now supporting the #BeautyBacked campaign to help those adversely affected by the latest lockdown...
2020 will be a year to remember for all of us but for Jasmine Bull, 14, it’ll be remembered as the year she started her own business!
First-time entrepreneur Jasmine, transformed lockdown uncertainty into creativity by launching her own eponymous beauty brand. Released with the help of Beauty Stable, the Jasmine range of creams and scrubs uses glass packaging and recycled ingredients, combining environmentally-friendly products with affordability.
The eldest of three girls with a single mum, Jasmine’s motivation as a young entrepreneur is to make more young women feel better about themselves, with an eco-friendly range of products that offers premier ingredients, at an affordable price.
Now, the 14-year-old entrepreneur is donating a portion of her proceeds to the Beauty Backed campaign. Jasmine is supporting the campaign to show solidarity to those members of the beauty industry who have been adversely affected by the latest lockdown.
The #BeautyBacked campaign, supported by industry experts the British Beauty Council and BABTAC, aims to raise money, support and awareness of the issues the industry faces as a result of the pandemic. All funds raised will be donated to the Hair and Beauty Charity, which offers financial support to individuals and families facing difficult times.
Beauty by Jas will be donating £1 from every product sold to the campaign, starting from 16th November, for the length of the lockdown. The company hopes to help the beauty industry through these problematic times, while raising awareness of the Beauty Backed effort.
“I started Beauty by Jas in the first lockdown and it’s been a really positive focus for me during these tough times,” said Jasmine. “Unfortunately, beauty salon owners haven’t been as lucky and have been forced to close, which has a huge effect on our industry.”
“I decided to donate £1 from every product I sell to the campaign, for one whole month. I really want to support the industry and show how much we are thinking of them. It’s so important to support each other through these difficult times and I hope we can raise money to help our colleagues.”
Best of luck Jasmine - an inspirational tale for sure!
