Could you be our next self-starter of the Week?
The Startacus community is crammed full with amazing people doing amazing things and every week we pick one of them to be our Self Starter of the week. At the end of the year, one of these inspiring people will win our Self Starter of the year award, as well as a treasure trove of amazing startup / business related prizes.
What is a self-starter?
There is no definitive description of what a self-starter is, and to us being a self-starter means many things;
You could be a startup founder, an entrepreneur, a project coordinator, or simply someone who is doing something special and making good things happen! Check out our 2015 self-starter hall of fame to see the host of self-starters who’ve already won this year.
How can you become our Self Starter of the week?
It couldn’t be easier to be considered for our Self Starter of the week award. All you have to do is join the Startacus community (it’s completely free) and make sure to complete your profile with all the information you reckon we should know about you.
The team at Startacus HQ will be in touch if you are chosen as our Self Starter of the week!
The Self Starter of the Year Award
At the end of the year, we will choose our 8 favourite self-starters and give them the chance to become our Self Starter of the year. They will have the opportunity to pitch to our audience, who will then vote for the person who they would like to receive the award.
There is a fab array of prizes for those lucky self-starters who win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
In 2013, the acclaimed title was won byJennifer Duthie, Founder of Skribbies, and last year Suzanne Noble of Frugl was voted the overall worthy winner.
So now we ask you again…. could you be our next Self-Starter of the week?
