by Startacus Admin
Figuring out which way to go in an unfamiliar indoor environments can be challenging. Dent Reality launches it's new AR wayfinding technology for shopping malls, airports, retailers and other venues, using virtual paths and arrows to help users find their way.
Step forward Dent Reality who's new technology integrates with the map of an indoor space, figuring out where the user is to help them find their destination, using augmented Reality paths and arrows to help them find where they’re going.
Providing pinpoint-accurate indoor positioning, for a great wayfinding experience, Dent Reality has been built so that no beacons or other hardware are required.
They have also developed advanced AI pathfinding features, to help people get where they need to go - whether that’s to reach their gate at the airport via customs, or a nearby store via an accessible route.
Built on ARKit and initially available on iOS, the team are ready beginning to work with shopping malls, airports, retailers and other venues, to integrate this technology within their spaces.
The team previously pioneered AR wayfinding, developed the most popular ARKit library on GitHub, and won the Product Hunt hackathon for the AR Scavenger Hunt app, Scavengar, so we think they are on the right path with this new indoor AR wayfinding app.
