Apps World North America has announced its return to The City by the Bay

by Startacus Admin
Following the overwhelming success of last year’s conference, Apps World North America 2015 is set to become the gold standard in technology conferences, as thousands of people descend on San Francisco for 2 exciting days of technological wonderment. This May 12th and 13th the Moscone Center will be crammed with hundreds of exhibitors, global giant keynote speakers as well as discussions, networking and the highest level insight into one of the world’s fastest growing industries - mobile apps.
Now in its sixth year, Apps World and its annual global series of conferences aim to demonstrate and explore issues surrounding the app ecosystem, as well as ignite discussion between the people who are shaping the future of these technologies and those ready to embrace them.
What will be happening?
An estimated 10,000 developers, mobile marketers, mobile operators, device manufacturers, platform owners, and industry professionals will be taking part in 11 specific targeted workshop tracks, as well asspeed networking events, one-to-one meetings, parties, and other exciting activities within an inspirational and cutting edge environment.
This year the 11 targeted workshop tracks will encompass a huge range of industry specific topics, 5 of which will be free to attend. The free workshop tracks are; HTML5 & Mobile Web, Mobile Strategy, Mobile Payments and Retail, TV & Multi Screen Apps, and API Strategies, whilst the paid ones will include Developer World, Droid World, CIO Leadership Summit, Gaming World, Enterprise World and Connected Car.
In short, everything you could possibly want, all in one place.
As usual Apps World have lined up a suitably distinguished programme of key note speakers who this year will include;
- Kevin Rose, CEO and Co Founder of North Technologies
- Eric Migicovsky, CEO and Founder of Pebble Technology
- Phil Libin, CEO of Evernote
- Steve Guggenheimer, Chief Evangelist of Microsoft
- Biz Stone, Co Founder, Twitter
- Chet Haase, Lead of Android UI Toolkit at Google

Startup Zones
At Startacus we are particularly interested in Apps World’s innovative startup zones, which offer a breath of fresh air to the industry by providing the opportunities for highly motivated startups to showcase their apps for free at the conference.
Alongside a general startup zone there will also be a number of specialised startup zones focusing on the key niche industry areas of; Connected Cars, Wearable Technologies, TV Apps, Indie Gaming, and Mobile Payments.
This is a really fantastic opportunity for the market’s up-and-comers to tell the world about what they are doing and make invaluable connections with people who are as excited, engaged, and innovative as they are.
Need some more info?
If all this talk of apps has got your technological taste buds tingling then you can find all the information you will need over at the Apps World North America website including a full rundown of everything that will be happening as well as ticket and exhibition details.
If you love the sound of Apps World North America, but live too far away to attend, keep your eyes peeled for news of Enterprise Apps World later this week on Startacus.
(Rumour has it there might be a little Gold ticket give away on the horizon… mum’s the word!)
