The overall winners of the Startup Launch Pad, as decided by the panel of judges was the P2P favour marketplace helpfulpeeps.
Co-founder Saf Nazeer told us afterwards why he has decided to get encouraged, and how the Startup Launch Pad had been of benefit to him.
"We first came across the Apps World Startup Launch Pad competition through a ‘helpfulpeep’ named Louise who had seen us speak at a local event.
We saw it as a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness and potentially investment so we applied to be part of the pitch competition and when we got through we also learnt that we would get a booth in the Launch Pad zone for both days.”
Apps World was the first large app ecosystem event that the team had taken part in “It was all very exciting and it really lived up to the hype as we managed to meet with so many interesting and helpful people over the 2 days. The highlight of the event was winning the award for Best Startup Pitch against an international line up of very impressive startups. The support and validation from both the public and industry experts alike have been amazing and we are still buzzing!"
