AO launches Innovation Lab to integrate online retail solutions

AO, the UK’s leading online-only household appliance and electrical retailer is looking discover and integrate startups with solutions that will help AO’s customers.
If you are currently building an online retail solution, creating unique shopping experiences, optimising routing and deliveries, improving internal IT and payment systems, or using AR tech to help shoppers experience products online, then this is the innovation lab for you!
AO has partnered with leading applied innovation advisory firm L Marks to launch AO Innovation Lab, and will aim to accelerate innovation projects already underway and enhance the entrepreneurial ethos that already exists within the company.
Working out of AO’s high tech, high spec Head Office based in Bolton, through the 10-week AO Innovation Lab, startups will get the opportunity to create and test solutions in partnership with AO, as well as growing their business and gaining mentorship from senior leaders.
Under twenty years old itself, AO is now the UK’s leading online-only household appliance and electrical retailer, with 3,000 employees in three countries and completing millions of deliveries each year.
With potential pilot opportunities via AO and the chance to receive investment from AO and L Marks also on offer, Daniel Saunders, Chief Executive of L Marks, said:
