Andrson - A&R reimagined

Andrson - The lowdown on the music tech Dublin startup that's been built by musicians, to help musicians thrive and for A&R to be reimagined.

For those looking for new talent, the sheer number clamouring to be The One can be overwhelming and ends up with them unable to see the wood for the trees. Perhaps, then, it is time for the music industry’s artists and repertoire division to be disrupted.
Dublin-based startup Andrson is that disruption. Andrson is a startup run by musicians, built to help musicians thrive. It is a global platform for undiscovered musicians to publish their work in an environment rich with industry professionals.
The startup has developed cutting edge analytics and their own bespoke audio-based artificial intelligence to enable agents, managers, and labels to discover the unknown artists that deserve to be heard. And as a bonus, for the artist, getting discovered through Andrson also means higher royalties.
The app is for industry professionals to discover new talent, for music fans looking to be the first to hear the next big thing and to help them get exposure, and for musicians.
These artists can use the app not just for the exposure, but also to collaborate with other artists, even to find nearby musicians who can fill a role. Missing a sad sax or a sitar solo? The app can help you find what you need.
Andrson founders Zach Miller-Frankel and Neil Dunne have teamed up with David Gogan, former vice-president at EMI Ireland and son of Irish DJ, Larry Gogan.
With his industry knowledge and connections behind the app, as well as Colin Meagle - chief executive of Continuum Media Group - on their board, it sounds like Andrson could be going places fast.
